South-West Govs Meet, Strategise On Security, Safety Of Region

Worried by the destruction done in the region during the #EndSARS Protests and insecurity in the region, South-West governors met in Lagos on Sunday to proffer solutions to the challenge.
The meeting, hosted by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, had in attendance the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Ibrahim Gambari; Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, governors of the South-West region, including Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, Osun State Gboyega Oyetola, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, Chairman of the region’s Governors’ Forum, Rotimi Akeredolu, among others.
Also in attendance were Ministers of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola, Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, Trade and Investments, Niyi Adebayo, among others.
Traditional rulers at the meeting included Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, Ooni of Ife, Enitan Ogunwusi , Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adedibu, among others.
