Sleeping Motorist Cheat Death In Auto Crash

A motorist who slept off while behind the wheel on Sunday narrowly escaped death in an auto crash which occured on the accident prone Siun-Abeokuta expressway.
The Commander of Traffic and Compliance Enforcement Corps,TRACE, Seni Ogunyemi who confirmed this to said it was a lone accident,which occured at about 3.20pm.
Ogunyemi said,the victim was driving Nissan Jeep, Ash Colour with registration number BB 752 BDJ when he suddenly slept off and had the crash at Olowotedo village along the expressway.
He said, the male victim and only occupant was inbound Abeokuta, when the accident occurred but was lucky that, the road rescue squad arrived the scene,in assisting him out of the wreckage.
The corps commander said,the victim who confirmed to have slept off sustained minor injury and in good state of health, while as at the time of filing this report, efforts were ongoing to remove the accidented vehicle from the scene.
