Senator Adamu Abdullahi coasts to victory as six other aspirants step down

It seems the Chairmanship position of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been won and lost as senator Adamu Abdullahi from Nasarawa state is coasting home to victory as six of those jostling for the position have thrown in the towel,saying they are supporting him as the consensus candidate for the position.  

A letter to that effect on behalf of the chairmanship aspirants was signed on their behalf by senator George Akume and sent to the chairman of the electoral committee of the party. . 

The other positions are being tabled for consideration ,so that there won’t be election at all as consensus arrangement will be deployed in the convention for those who will lead the ruling party..
