Senate Leader, Opeyemi Bamidele bags Award of Excellence from Anglican Diocese of Ekiti

The Senate Leader, Senator (Dr) Michael Opeyemi Bamidele CON on Saturday bagged an award of excellence in recognition of his outstanding leadership and contributions to the development of Christianity and humanity in general.

The award was received on his behalf by the Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor On Bureau of Housing and Mortgage Development; Dr. Gboyega Oloniyo, during the 20th Synod of Diocese Of Ekiti Anglican Communion held in Ado Ekiti. The award presented by Rt. Revd. Andrew Oluwasola Àjàyí, was also in acknowledgment of Bamidele’s unwavering dedication to serving his constituents and advancing the interests of the nation.

Speaking on behalf of the Senate Leader, Dr Oloniyo commended the Anglican diocese of Ekiti for the outstanding Award, saying that the gesture will not be taken for granted. He described it as a well-deserved honor which will propell the Leader to participate more in all activities of the diocese

HRM, Oba Ademola Ajakaye, the Oluyin of Iyin Ekiti, who also graced the occasion described the award as worthy, considering the Senate Leader’s antecedents, commitment to excellence and his pivotal role in contributing meaningfully to the growth and development of the house of God. He offered prayers that God should continue to empower the Leader to do more.
