Senate approves President Buhari’s request on $500m Eurobond
The Nigerian Senate has approved President Muhammadu Buhari’s request to acquire $500million in Eurobonds to fund the deficit in the 2016 budget.
Presiding over Senate plenary on Wednesday, March 22, the deputy senate president put the question to the senators in a voice vote and ‘ayes’ carried the day.
