Remo Stars FC Thrashes EL-Kanem Warriors FC 2-0

The only premier League team in Ogun State,Remo Stars Football Club on Sunday dealt a 2-0 win against its opponent, El-Kaneem Warriors FC in the on going Nigeria Professional Football Leagues,(NPFL).
The match which was the third home match of Remo Stars FC, held at the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, saw the visiting El-Kaneem Warriors fighting hard to reddeem it’s image to no avail.
Our correspondent who covered the encounter reports that,the first goal by the home team was recorded by Onuoha Chukwejekwu in the first minute of the match, while the second goal was recorded through a free kick by Oche Salefu from outside 18 yard box in the 47th minute of the encounter.
The 90 minutes encounter saw the home team thwarting all proactive move and efforts of the visiting El-Kaneem team to equalised
In an interview after the match, coach of Remo Stars FC, Nduka Ugbade told sports writers that he was satisfied with the performance of his boys.
He commended the winning spirit of the team,and also expressed optimism that the team will remain in the premiership.
Ugbade further added that,the management and the players would not relent on efforts towards the success of the club.
Head coach of El-Kanemi Warriors Ladan Bosso on his own part commended the standards of play of both side as well as the officiating.
Bosso said though human is prone to errors both noted that the league management company had brought innovations to the league
