President Tinubu Begins Three-Week Annual Leave
…Departs Abuja for Europe
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Europe to commence a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave, the Presidency has announced.
According to a statement issued by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Tinubu’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom.
The Presidency described the trip as a working vacation, during which the President is expected to take a break from his official engagements.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week leave and resume his presidential duties.
Onanuga said the President would also join the campaign activities ahead of the January 2027 election upon his return.
The announcement comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with parties and political stakeholders already mobilising supporters across the country.
