Presidency sacks Tinubu’s SA

The Presidency has announced the immediate termination of Fegho John Umunubo from his role as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy, under the Office of the Vice President.

In a statement released on Monday, the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Presidency, Abiodun Oladunjoye, confirmed the dismissal and issued a caution to the public.

According to Oladunjoye, all stakeholders in the digital and creative economy—both within Nigeria and internationally—as well as members of the public, should take note that Umunubo no longer holds any official position within the current administration.

He emphasized that Umunubo is no longer authorized to act on behalf of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in any capacity.

“Anyone who continues to engage with him under the assumption that he represents the government does so at their own risk,” the statement warned.

The Presidency urged all relevant parties to take this advisory seriously and act accordingly.
