Police nab Boko Haram suspect, five others in Bauchi

A Boko Haram suspect and five other criminals have been arrested by police in Bauchi.
In a statement issued on Thursday by the Bauchi State police commissioner, Garba Baba Umar, the Boko Haram suspect, Muhammad A. Nafiu was number 176 on the wanted list of the Nigerian Army.
The suspect, who is an indigene of Balanga local government in Gombe State was arrested at Tema Village in Toro local government area of Bauchi State where he relocated after they were dislodged from Sambisa forest.
Similarly, the police in collaboration with the Military have also arrested suspected Sara-Suka thugs named Osama Abubakar and Suleiman Umar.
According to a statement from the state police command, three other persons namely, Ibrahim Ahmed of Birshi Village, Usman Yunusa also of Birshi Village and Emmanuel Ayuba of Yelwan Tsakani were also arrested by the police for allegedly belonging to a cult group.
The police boss said all the cases are under investigation after which the suspects will be charge to court or handed over to the appropriate authority respectively.
