Police kill a man in Kubwa by shooting canister directly into his eyes + photos

A police officer on Wednesday night along Kubwa Arab killed a man by shooting teargas canister directly into his eyes.

According to eyewitness, the man simply identified as Onyebuchi Anene was returning from work that night and he accidentally hit a motorcyclist who was said to be injured.

The deceased was said to have pleaded with the motorcyclist and settled him, but before then a police man had already gotten to the scene. The man and the cyclist told him that they had settled the matter, “that he can go.

“The policeman then said no, he must follow him to the police station. The then replied that he has settle with the man hit, so they should let him go to his house.

Our correspondent, further gathered that at that point there was an argument and the deceased threatened to sue the police if he does anything to him, so he should allow him go to his house.

At that point the police man shot the canister directly into his eyes.

Onyebuchi was then rushed into a near by hospital, and the police man who shot him ran away, Onyebuchi was reported to have died at around 1pm Thursday afternoon.
