Police allegedly move equipment, EODs to break into Dino Melaye’s house

Men of the Nigeria Police keeping vigil at the residence of Senator Dino Melaye in Abuja, are believed to have moved in tools boxes and Explosive Ordinance Disposal ( EOD ) vehicles to break the security door behind which the senator is allegedly taking refuge with aim to force him out.

A source close to the siege operation area disclosed this on Wednesday to Daily Independent. He said the police has deployed the equipments to forcefully arrest the senator

Recall that the police said it has warrant to arrest the senator from Kogi state.

The entire Shanga Street in Maitama where the house is located has been barricaded by the police as human and vehicular movement were restricted in the area.

Police said that it won’t leave the residence of the senator until he surrenders for alleged culpable homicide and for masterminding the shooting of a police officer on July 19, 2018 in Kogi State.
