PMADIF Celebrates Pa Prof. Olúṣọlá Ajolore at 100

The Prof. Mercy Adesanya-Davies International Foundation (PMADIF) has congratulated Pa Professor Olúṣọlá Ajolore on his 100th birthday, describing the renowned academic and Christian leader as a symbol of faith, integrity, scholarship and selfless service to humanity.
In a statement issued on Monday, PMADIF marked the centenary celebration of the elder statesman, which was commemorated on July 24, 2026, in Ilorin, Kwara State, noting that attaining the age of 100 is a rare blessing and a testament to God’s sustaining grace.
The Foundation praised Pa Ajolore’s distinguished career in academia and his decades of contributions to Christian leadership, education, mentorship and national development, saying his influence has positively impacted generations of students, professionals, church leaders and public servants.
PMADIF highlighted his leadership roles as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (Nigeria) and Chairman of the Elders Council of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Ecclesiastical Affairs (NSCEA), describing his service as one marked by wisdom, humility and unwavering commitment to the advancement of the Gospel.
Founder and President of PMADIF, Bishop Professor Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies, paid glowing tribute to the centenarian, describing him as “a father, mentor, teacher, scholar and spiritual leader whose life has become a shining testimony that true greatness is measured by service, humility, integrity and unwavering faith in God.”
She added that his century-long journey continues to inspire generations to pursue excellence, righteousness and compassionate leadership.
The Foundation noted that Pa Ajolore’s enduring commitment to education, intellectual development and character formation aligns with PMADIF’s vision of transforming lives through education, peace, compassion and sustainable development.
According to the statement, his life demonstrates that true leadership is defined not by position but by influence, sacrifice, consistency and service to others, urging young Nigerians to embrace integrity, discipline, diligence and faith as the pillars of personal and national development.
PMADIF also called on governments, educational institutions, faith-based organisations and civil society groups to continue recognising senior citizens whose wisdom, experience and moral leadership remain vital to nation-building.
The Foundation said that as Nigeria strives to strengthen its institutions and promote ethical leadership, the life and achievements of Pa Professor Ajolore provide an enduring model worthy of emulation.
PMADIF concluded by praying for continued peace, sound health, strength and divine grace for the centenarian while joining his family, friends, colleagues, the Christian community and well-wishers worldwide in celebrating what it described as a remarkable legacy of faith, scholarship and service.
