PENPUSHING PLATFORM LAMENTS LOSS OF FAMAKINWA

A Group under the popular and credible social media,known as penpushing platform has lamented the sudden loss of Director General of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria,DAWN,Dipo Famakinwa
Famakinwa was reported dead on Friday morning through a multiple sources said to be close to the deceased as reported by Premium Times.
However,members of penpushing platform on hearing the shocking news, could not hide their emotions,as they profusely expressed displeasure over the ugly development.
The platform which parades 256 membership including notable personalities like; Chief Olusegun Osoba,Commodore Kayode Olofinmoyin(former military administrator), Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe and Prof Idowu Sobowale, was short of words on hearing the news.
Some of members of the group in their various touching condolence messages said, the demise of Famakinwa was a major setback for the Development Agenda.
In his own reaction, Prof Oye Ibidapo-Obe(former Vice-Chancellor, University of Lagos),wrote,’So sad!!! I just send a message to DAWN commending for such a wonderful work they are rendering’
Similarly, another participant on the platform, Yusuph Olaniyonu in his own remark said,’Very sad that we ost Dipo Famakinwa. A major setback for the Development Agenda’
Also reacting,Engr Dideolu Falobi wrote,’Sad…Very sad. A passionate Yorubaman, a genuine Omoluabi,a personal friend is gone’
The former Governorship Candidate under the banner of Unity Party of Nigeria,UPN,Ogun State, Rotimi Paseda in his own condolence message wrote,’May his soul rest with the Lord’.
In the same vein, former Deputy Speaker,Ogun State House of Assembly, Remmy Hazzan wrote,’Very sad development’, while Engr Titus Olowookere also lamented thus,’Sad indeed. I remember he introduced us at an LCCI event last year. My commiseration’
Meanwhile,the deceased organisation was responsible for designing and implementing the blueprint for better integration and governance of the six south-western states.
