PENPUSHING FOUNDER APPRECIATES DONORS,MEMBERS OVER BEFITTING ANNIVERSARY
The founder of penpushing platform, Prince Dimeji Kayode-Adedeji has expressed appreciation to donors and members of the group for their contributions towards a befitting and successful maiden public lecture of the platform.
He made this known in a press statement made available to journalists, affirming that,the genuine supports which came from all members/ participants both home and in diaspora was key to the success of the event.
The former Zonal Secretary of Nigeria Union of Journalists,(NUJ) South-West specially thanked the planning committee members for packaging a memorable event, which will remained a reference point.
The planning committee members include, Funke Fadugba(former Chairman,Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) Lagos State Council), Remi Olugbenro(Manager News,Federal Radio Corporation,Paramount F.M), Dr Goke Rauf(Director of Communications, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic,Abeokuta),Engr Dideolu Falobi),Bolaji Amusan(a reputable movie actor,known as Mr Latin) and Dele Odule(a veteran movie actor)
Kayode-Adedeji said he was overwhelmed by genuine support the platform received and being enjoyed since it’s establishment,noting that,that was a sign of good things to come.
‘Let me say this from the bottom of my heart, for the support you gave me and our penpushing platform, which led to successful outing, God will continued to support you all. I am profusely grateful. You will not lack. You added value to my life and the platform ,God will continued to add value to your lives’, he said to members.
The initiator of the now household name news dissemination platform enjoined members not to relent in efforts towards the leading role penpushing is and has been playing in propagating authentic news globally.
‘Let me also emphasised that,we are all stakeholders on this laudable project, and we should keep the flag flying,and am optimistic that our individual roles towards the growth of the platform will remain indelible’,Kayode-Adedeji stated.
He stated further, with assurance that, the platform will not compromise it’s integrity, stating that, within the operations of the platform, the management may have ‘step on toes’,but should not been seen as deliberate,rather it was to inject sanity and discipline for the benefits of all.
The veteran journalist also added that,as the platform begins it’s second year journey, called on all members to always be participatory, pointing out that, ‘we are all stakeholders and should fold our arms at all time’
He expressed assurance that,the platform shall continued to be vibrant, as known for,adding that it is an open secret that,membership cut across the globe.
