PENPUSHING IS REFRESHING PHASE OF JOURNALISM, SAYS BODE MUSTAPHA
A frontline member of penpushing who doubles as Bobagunwa of Egbaland,Chief Bode Mustapha has applauded the platform for its positive contributions towards developmental growth of journalism globally.
Mustapha stated this in an telephone interview from United Kingdom,where he is currently holidaying,adding that,the platform has been adding refreshing phase to journalism, which has make it relevant to general public.
He also pointed out that, penpushing is winning war against the menace associated with social media,following the standby rules of credible and authentic source for all news being disseminated across the globe.
Speaking further,he expressed optimism that,the platform has come to stay, in view of its performances since about a year it was established, coupled with array of personalities the platform is parading.
He said the choice of the platform by eminent personalities on board and other participants was a clear testimony of the trust,they have on the founder and management team, and also called for need to maintain the standard.
Mustapha added that,the project was laudable, emphasising that, the introduced annual lecture was another feat, which will forever remain a reference point in journalism and news dissemination.
The Egba High Chief called on participants to rally round the project for a successful and befitting anniversary, stressing that,the founder is known as an uncompromising journalist,who practice the profession without fear or favour,and work in line with ethics of the profession.
Mustapha also pointed out that, all participants are glued to the platform, as a credible source to get breaking and authentic news as it happens globally, adding that for those in diaspora they are beneficiaries of knowing what is happening back home.
He advised the management to maintained discipline the platform is known for, stressing that, on the platform, there is no case of animal farm, just as he appealed to participants to also support the administrators in complying with rules and regulations which make the platform outstanding.
