PDP Crisis: Members Crying Now Will Laugh Again – BoT Chairman, Walid

The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Board of Trustees, BoT, Walid Jibrin has declared that members of the party who are crying now will smile again.

Addressing reporters in Abuja, Walid urged members of the former rulig party not to defect to other political parties.

Walid said, “I am sure that very soon everybody will smile. Those who are crying today will laugh.

“Those who are disturbed and worried will smile and PDP will one day become one party as we know it. It’s just a question of time.

This is coming at a time when an Appeal Court sitting in Port Harcourt affirmed former Borno State Governor as the authentic National Chairman of the party.

A three-man panel of judges in a unanimous decision agreed that the former Borno State Governor is the authentic National Chairman of the party.

Following the ruling, the Makarfi’s faction of the former ruling party disclosed that it would be heading for the Supreme court to contest the judgement
