Osinbanjo gives thanks after helicopter crash two years ago

Vice President Yemi Osinbanjo on Wednesday took to Facebook to thank God for saving his life as he remembers the helicopter crash last year.

“February 2, 2019 would have been a sorrowful day if not for God’s intervention.

Two years after the helicopter crash that nearly took his life and 11 others, Osinbanjo gave God all the glory for what he described as a day of victory and thanksgiving.

He showed appreciation to God through his Facebook page.

” would have been remembered as a day of sorrow because of the helicopter crash on February 2, 2019 involving me and 11 others but we thank God it is instead a day of victory and thanksgiving”.

The accident occurred when the chopper was landing in Kabba, Kogi State.
