Osinbajo Talks Tough: Don’t Divide Nigeria With Your Actions….. defaulters will be prosecuted

Following series of attacks from religious leaders against his person, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has advised Nigerian, religious and political leaders not to allow themselves to be used by temptations.

lOsinbajo also warned religious leaders to avoid any actions that will divide Nigeria.

The Nigeria Television Authority reports that Osinbajo made this known in a statement from his office.

According to the report, Osinbajo also reaffirmed the commitment of the federal government to defending the rule of law and protecting the lives of Nigerians no matter their religious or ethnic background.

The Acting President also warned that defaulters must be made to face the full wrath of the law despite the limitations of the criminal justice system in the country.

He also noted that with President Muhammadu Buhari’s instruction to security agencies, military and the police to send reinforcements to southern Kaduna to enforce peace, things will soon be all right.

Osinbajo then charged all Nigerians to work together to find a lasting solution to the crisis and resist the temptation to succumb to divisive tendencies

Recall that just some days ago, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) sent a message to Osinbajo, calling on him to defend Christians as he is in office to do so.
