Osinbajo signs executive orders to fast-track business operations-Presidency

The Presidency has given reasons why Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo signed three executive ordrs, saying it was in a bid to ease business operations, fast-track budget submission and promote made in Nigeria products.

A statement by Osinbajo’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande, disclosed that the signing of the order will also “significantly change the ways government businesses and operations are conducted in the country forthwith.”

The statement reads, “In exercise of the presidential authorities vested in the Executive arm of government, Acting President Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, signed three executive orders that will significantly change some of the ways government business and operations are conducted in the country forthwith.

The statement said the Acting President while signing the orders gave specific instructions on a number of policy issues affecting, “The promotion of transparency and efficiency in the business environment designed to facilitate the ease of doing business in the country.
