Orhionmwon youths laud Obaseki’s industrialization policy
In spite of the daunting economic challenges in Nigeria, Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki. has been commended for truly demonstrating sufficient courage in building capacity aimed at making extreme poverty becomes history among Edo youths.
A Coalition of Orhionmwon Youth Elite Groups (COYEG), gave this commendation in a release signed by its President, Comrade Jonathan Okunbor and Secretary, Comrade Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, and made available to newsmen in Benin City.
The Group however lauded the
industrialization policy of the Obaseki led All Progressives Congress {APC) administration, which is gradually turning the state to industrial hub in the South-South region.
Furthermore, they appreciated Governor Godwin Obaseki for the inclusion of youths in governance, ad following the nomination of one of their kinsmen Osamwonyi Evbaguehita Atu on the Board of Edo State Oil and Gas Producing Areas Development Commission (EDSOGPADEC).
They charged the nominee, who hails from Evbuobanosa Community in the counci to justofy the confidence reposed in him to deliver on the task ahead.
“The state government should accord Orhionmwon LGA, its pride of place in allocation of resources, having been endowed with 85 percent of oil and gas deposit in the entire state,
“Today, joy has filled our feelings in seeing
your developmental strides in all sectors, most especially in making Edo State an industrial hub and the inclusion of youths in governance,'” they stressed.
