OPINION: Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed, The Guiding Light Of APC

By Sultanate Al-lokowiey

In the evolving Nasarawa political landscape, few figures like Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed have consistently demonstrated leadership, governance, and economic transformation. His name resonates not only within Nasarawa State but across the nation, symbolizing integrity, innovation, and the promise of a brighter future for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.

Tijani’s rise to prominence was not accidental but a result of his deliberate focus on uplifting the people through effective governance. As a former Secretary to Nasarawa Local Government Council, former Executive Chairman of Nasarawa Local Government Council, former Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and former Secretary to the Government of Nasarawa State, his leadership was marked by developmental strides that improved infrastructure, education, and other physical infrastructure. His passion for transforming lives extended beyond his tenure, earning him widespread respect within the party and the electorate.

In the 2023 general elections, Loko electoral ward of Nasarawa Local Government Area recorded the highest votes in Nasarawa West for Governor Abdullahi Sule and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, largely due to the influence of Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed, who currently serves as Federal Commissioner/CEO of the National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI).

As the political landscape gears up for future challenges, Hon. Tijani Aliyu Ahmed stands as the guiding light for APC. His unwavering commitment to progress, pragmatic leadership, and ability to unite divergent interests make him a key figure in shaping the future of both the party and the nation. In these times of uncertainty, the governing party can look to him not just for stability but for a roadmap that ensures the party remains relevant and impactful in Nasarawa politics.
