OPIC plaza explosion: Scores of people killed, 25 vehicles burnt
Scores of people were killed, several injured and 25 vehicles burnt due to a tanker explosion that affected OPIC shopping plaza along Maryland-Ikeja road in Lagos on Friday.
Eyewitness account claim that a spark from the tanker affected a gas plant close to the shopping complex and got it engulfed by fire.
Most of the victims were rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital and Gbagada General Hospital
