OPEYEMI BAMIDELE SHOT IN ADO EKITI + VIDEO

Former member of Nigeria’s House Representatives who also vied for the All Progressives Congress(APC) ticket for the upcoming Ekiti governorship election has been shot.

Opeyemi was shot at the APC party secretariat in Ado-Ekiti on Friday during a reception organised for the candidate of the party, Dr Kayode Fayemi. He was shot alongside one other person whose identity is yet to be identified.

Opeyemi was immediately rushed to the hospital for medical attention and the other victim is feared dead.
