Okorocha place N20million ransom for any information about the killer of APC chairman
Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha has placed a reward of N20 million to anyone with useful information on the killers of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
The governor made the pledge on Friday, hours after Mr Sunny Ejiagwu, the APC chairman in Ideato North Local Government Area, was killed by gunmen suspected to be hired assassins.
Mr Ejiagwu was murdered, four days after he was elected as the APC Chairman in the LGA, along the Orlu-Akokwa Road on his way home after attending a meeting at the APC Secretariat in Owerri, the state capital.
The spokesperson for the Imo State Police Command, Mr Andrew Enwerem, said the police have launched an investigation into the killing.
