Ogun SDP Governorship candidate unveils accountant as running mate
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) Ogun State Governorship Candidate Engr Anthony Ojeshina has announced an accountant, Aare Olugbenga Oluyemi as running mate for the governorship race in 2023.
Ojeshina disclosed this while speaking with journalists and party members in Abeokuta on Friday,
According to Ojeshina the choice of Oluyemi was based on his competence and quality.
The profile of the running mate has it that he is a self-driven Executive with extensive private sector experience, who has over 20 years quality executive work experience in Accounting, Finance and Procurement.
He is a graduate of Accounting from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State and an MBA from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, a fellow member, Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAN).
The Deputy Governorship candidate also has in-view a masters in Supply Chain Management from Salford University, Manchester United Kingdom (U.K), and has equally served in Executive capacity with Airtel Network Limited, Lead City University, British American Tobacco (BAT).
The Ijebu-Igbo born Oluyemi from Ijebu North Local Government, Ogun East Senatorial District is the immediate past Managing Partner of Analog Global Synergy Limited, and happily married with four children.
The Governorship candidate in his speech at the occasion said his choice of Oluyemi was borne out of his(Ojeshina) believe that he is synergistic with his vision for Ogun State, and was carefully chosen because of his observation that he can jointly deliver his(Ojeshina’s) dream of better state
‘Aare Oluyemi’s choice as my running mate is borne out of belief that he is synergistic with my vision for Ogun State. Oluyemi as carefully chosen because of what is observed as his capacity to jointly deliver Ojeshina’s dream of making Ogun State financially and economically sustainable with or without federal allocation, thereby creating a model state.
