Ogun PDP Throws Support For 2FACE Planned Protest

Ogun State Chapter of ‎Peoples Democratic Party,PDP,Ogun State on Saturday declared support for the planned protest being organised by  hip-hop artiste, Tu Face.
In  a press statement signed by the party Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Malik Ibitoye‎ posited that the protest was apt and a confirmation that Nigerians have lost confidence in deceptive government of the All Progressives Congress,APC.
‎’Idibia’s planned protest against President Muhammadu Buhari and the All Progressives Congress(APC)-led Federal Government has received a boost as the Ogun State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)and  has supported the move’,the statement emphasised.
The press statement‎ stressed that Tu Face was identifying with members of the public, who he said are groaning under the mal-administration of the All Progressives Congress -led Federal Government.
‘Nigerians cannot afford to fold their arms, while President Muhammadu Buhari plunges the country into a serious economic crisis’,the release stated.
The party emphasised that President Buhari has lost direction and that he has no serious economic and political plans for the country.
“After almost two years, we are totally convinced that President Buhari is not prepared for governance and that he is experimenting with the lives of numerous Nigerians, who felt he had solutions to the numerous challenges confronting the country during campaigns’.
“President Buhari and the APC have lost direction and they should have played safe by allowing the PDP to continue to rule the country. It is obvious that our President has no solution to our problems and the people deserve the right to protest against his government for the good of the country,”said the statement.
The opposition party insisted that the Police and other security agencies have no right to prevent Tu Face, Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State and others from protesting and insisted that it is their fundamental human rights as enshrined in the Nigerian Constitution.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that, Tuface at a press conference called on politicians to keep away from the protest, as it is not a political affairs
