OGUN FIBAN MEMBER BECOMES SECRETARY TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT
A frontline member of Ogun State Chapter of the Freelance and Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria (FIBAN) Adewale Dada, popularly known as “The Good” was sworned-in as the Secretary to the Ade-Odo/Ota Local Government.
The ceremony held at the local government secretariat in Ota was witnessed by many people from different places, who came to identify with the ace broadcaster.
Speaking on the development, FIBAN Chairman in the State Comrade Akinyemi Olatoye said “the appointment of Adewale Dada is a reward of loyalty, that is worth emulating. I want to congratulate him on behalf of all the members of FIBAN, and wish him best of luck while praying that more great things will continue to manifest in his life”.
Olatoye, popularly called Alawiye Federation maintained that even though FIBAN is apolitical,but stressed that “individual interest should be maturely and professionally tolerated in whatever association or group we belong”.
He called on other members of the association to learn from the loyalty, commitment and undying spirit of Adewale Dada, because no matter how hard a storm might be blowing, sooner or later the coast will surely be clear and settle again.
