Ogun CP orders full scale investigation into activities of arrested serial killer

Ogun State Commissioner of Police, Bashir Makama has ordered a full scale investigation into the past activities of the notorious serial killer and cultist, Sunday Paul recently arrested by the Command.
The suspect, a.k.a. Blade, who has been tormenting the people of Ikenne and its environ over a long period was arrested last month following an intensive surveillance and technical investigation into his activities.
With this arrest, the palpable fears that had gripped the town and its environ has finally laid to rest, as the whole town and its environ were thrown into wild jubilation upon his arrest.
The State Command in a release made available by the Police public relations officer (PPRO), Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abimbola Oyeyemi to newsmen on Wednesday confirmed that the suspect has been on wanted list of the Command, and will be charged to court as soon as possible.
The PPRO noted that the suspect, is a one eyed man, and leader of dreaded Eiye Confraternity, whose activities had responsible for the killing of not less than 15 people in Ikenne and its environ.
He said: “Upon his arrest, it was discovered that he has been arrested and charged to court on three different occasions, and that he recently came out of prison over a murder related case.
“However, upon interrogation, he admitted being the leader of Eiye cult group in Ikenne and its environ. He equally confessed the killing of one Kabiru who he claimed to be a member of a rival cult group. His arrest has elicited a wild jubilation in Ikenne and it’s environ.”
