OGUN CAN HONOURED COMMISSIONER OF POLICE
The Christian Association of Nigeria(CAN) Ogun state chapter has honoured the Commissioner of Police in the state,Ahmed Iliyasu with an award of outstanding performance.
The award was presented to him in his office at Eleweran Police Headquarters,Abeokuta by the umbrella body of the Christian.
The Chairman, His lordship Bishop Akin Akinsanya led other members of the association on a courtesy visit when the presentation was made.
Akinsanya was full of praises to the commissioner for making the state a safe place to live, expressing satisfaction on the performance of the police in the state under the leadership of Iliyasu
.
The CAN chairman therefore pledge the support of the Christian in the state to the state police command and also assured the command of constant prayer to support the command’s efforts of ridding the state of crime and criminality.
In his response, the commissioner expressed his profound gratitude to the body and assured them that he will not relent in his efforts to make Ogun state safe for the residents.
