Ogun Athletes Storm National Camp For Africa Badminton Championship

Ahead of the All Africa Senior Badminton Championship in Egypt, five Ogun State badminton players that were invited to the national camp in preparation for the event have stormed the venue.
The championship slated to hold from February 10th – 16th, 2020 will feature other top badminton players across the continent in both male and female category respectively.
Having found worthy, the Badminton Federation of Nigeria invited these players comprising of three males and two females from the Gateway State, and many other states across the country.
The camping exercise which was a closed camp has commenced on Wednesday at the High Performance Centre, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state.
Africa number one female badminton player, Dorcas Adesokan, led other state athletes to the camp. They are Tunde Bankole, Segun Idowu, Akinsola Simeon and Ilori Aminat.
With this invitation, they are anticipated to do the state proud at the camp, and enroute to the championship proper in Northern part of Africa next month.
