OGUN ANTI-ROBBERY DECLARES HOME RAID OF ARMED ROBBERS
The Ogun State Command of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad,(FSARS),at the weekend declared that, henceforth it is going to take battle to the door step of criminals in the state.
The Head of the squad,Adam Uba made the disclosure of the new strategy at a sendforth ceremony for two of the the squad officers,Edet Okon(DSP) and Bakare Ashiru(ASP,popularly called old school) who retired from the service.
The Chief crime burster while tasking his men to be proactive in the course of their duty, emphasised that,under his supervision robbery operations must be keep out of the state and environs and criminals completely sent out.
Hear him “Let us take fight to door steps of criminals,particularly armed robbers. We have discovered some flash points and we must flush out criminals. We should not allow any armed robbers to hybernate in Ogun State’.
Uba while speaking further, posited that any idiot in the name of armed robbers must be shot,but with a caution note that innocent people must not be a target of attack by the squad.
‘Any idiot in the name of armed robbers must be killed,but don’t shoot innocent people.. Anybody who want to destroy the state, we shall destroy them.Let us smoke out criminals. This FSARS must be enviable for others. We cannot afford to go back’, he told his men.
The squad boss who was recently commended by Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun for his team gallantry performances in curbing crimes, said he would make life unbearable for bandits in the state and environs.
He also assured of recommending any proactive and gallant officer for promotion, adding that,those who fall in the category shall equally be recommended for further training to boost their status in the service.
‘I want to assure that, I will always make promotion recommendation for performing officers, as well as training programme for you,as this will boost your status in the service’, he declared
