Ogun 2027: APC Endorses Yayi as Abiodun’s Preferred Successor

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, as its consensus governorship candidate for the 2027 election in Ogun State.

The announcement was made by Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, during an ongoing stakeholders and strategic caucus meeting of the party.

Adeola’s emergence followed a unanimous endorsement by party leaders present at the meeting, signaling a strong show of unity within the party ahead of the next electoral cycle.

Speaking at the gathering, Abiodun expressed confidence in the senator’s ability to succeed him, describing Adeola as a leader with strong intellectual capacity and the competence required to lead Ogun State.
