Ododo’s WSA Appointment A Wilful Tool For Poverty Alleviation

Democracy in it’s objectivity is a government that seeks to have practical interface with people of all categories, especially touching the lives of those at the grassroots who may never have any occasion and privilege to be heard or touched by leaders they believe in, throughout their lifetime.

This tragic trend has restraint countless of masses from accomplishing their dreams, hence it explains why many abruptly end their lives gruesomely because their expectations weren’t met, and the future which stare at them remain gloomy and bleak.

Listening to the yearning of the ruled by their leaders not only assuage their plights, it promptly repress disappointment and disdain thereby pacifying the helpless condition of the followers, consequently awakening hope by cooling off the effects of a long term resentment and disrespect, occasioned by bad governance.

The administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has navigated the political terrains of Kogi state, comprehended the multi faces of maladies which has bedeviled and captivated the citizens for ages, especially before the advent of APC in Kogi state.

Governor Ododo singly discovered that unexplainable gap exists between the government and the grassroot followers, which is posing as wide barrier and has remained unabated. Most often, the cries, pains and bitter expressions of the people never gets to the targeted channels for a positive move. Resultantly, the disappointed populace become furious and head towards the polls at election period to eject what they perceived as “bad government” out of the way. Ironically, not all of those who mantle the corridor of power are outrightly that bad.

In his brief ascension to the glass house, Governor Ahmed Ododo and his train have not only signalled to the society about his outstanding styles, and not only silencing the opposing factions and parties, he twistily determined to henceforth hear from the horse’s mouth through the appointment of the Ward Special Assistants who are expected to lay bare the agonies, disappointments and other general opinion of the grassroot occupants across the Wards of the twenty one Local Government Areas of the state.

Apart from the credibility embedded in this uncommon discretion of our dear Governor, the people will no longer be distant nor barred from heralding their disapproval and confidence to the one they vouched for to be their own leader .

Now that this measure of WSA is set in motion, the government is completely drawn closer to the people. Expectedly, it behoves on the Wards Special Assistants across board to ensure that a better representation is sustained.

Once these are accomplished, the question of continuity of His Excellency in the next phase becomes expressly indubitable.

The thought or rhetoric of raising eyebrows on the expensiveness of maintaining the WSA is inconsequential to a seasoned and visionary Governor who prior now has successfully handled the State’s treasury without headache. The directional Governor knows the loopholes of the State and is poised to fix it.

Now that his positive magical fingers are indelibly registered in nooks and crannies across the state, the entire citizens, starting from the grassroots are enthusiastically drumming support and pitching behind him as a sure gallant soldier who deserves their unalloyed allegiance.
