Northern Nigeria has the highest percentage of children who don’t go to school

A new data has shown that almost North East and North West are the two states with the least percentage of children in school.
According to an infographic presented by the Emergency Coordination Centre (ECC), the highest level of illiteracy can be found in northern Nigeria.
Below is the percentage of uneducated children between the age of 6 and 16 in 6 Nigerian regions:
1) North East is the highest with 46 percent
2) North West has 45 percent
3) 10 percent in North central
4) South West has 2 percent
5) Both south-south and south-east has 1 percent each
