Nile university to host world television day on Nov. 20

ABIODUN JIMOH, BENIN CITY

The Nile University, Mass Communication Department, Abuja will be organising an event which coincide with this year annual celebration of World Television Day on November 20, 2018 at the University lecture auditorium.

The event themed ‘The role of the media in promoting peaceful coexistence in a multicultural society,’ is being organised by the university in collaboration with UFUK Dialogue Foundation, and NUSRET Education and Cultural Co. Limited.

Eminent guest speakers expected at the event are Mrs. Asma Alhusainy, the Deputy Editor of Al-Ahram Newspaper, Cairo Egypt, and Mr. Nabil Negmeldin of Al Ghad Television Station, Cairo, Egypt.
