Nigerian Breaks World Record At Commonwealth Games, Wins Gold
A Nigerian weightlifter, Esther Onyema, on Tuesday won Nigeria’s first gold medal at the ongoing Gold Coast Commonwealth Games.
The medal was won in weightlifting.
Onyema won with a lift of 141.6kg in the under-50kg to win gold and set a new world record.
