Nigerian Air Force denies report of crashed aircraft
The Nigerian Air Force has denied media publication that a Nigerian military “Alpha jet” aircraft crashed in Kaduna state.
The report also said that the fighter jet left Yola, the Adamawa capital, on Sunday morning to go clear bandits.
In a statement, NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet said the report of the crash was false.
He said: “No crash in Kaduna. No aircraft left Yola for Kaduna. I am making contact and awaiting information from other locations.”
