New Year Message: PDP House Of Reps Leader Enjoins Nigerians To Remain Resolute

As the new year 2020 commences, Nigerians have been enjoined to remain resolute, peaceful and law abiding in helping to build a virile, united and progressive Nigeria of our dream.

Hon. Ogundu Kingsley Chinda, Leader, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus, at the House of Representatives made this passionate plea in his new year message to all Nigerians both home and in Diaspora.

Hon. Chinda, in the message stated that beyond the funfare and merry making, this new year would afford Nigerians an opportunity to collectively reflect on their past and rededicate themselves to the love and service of God, fellow citizens and the country.

“For ourselves, our families, constituents and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) caucus in the House of Representatives give all the glory to Almighty, Omnipotent, Omniscience, and Omnipresence God.

“We rejoice with and congratulate all Nigerians on the occasion of the crossover to year 2020. A fulfilled new year wish to all of us and our dear country Nigeria.

“The year 2019, undoubtedly, was not only challenging, but also had lots of issues that called for concern and deeper introspection, social and political challenges, and a poorly managed economy, in addition to an almost unending and insurmountable security challenges across the country.

“Never before have we been faced with divisive tendencies caused by an inept government arising from her invidious policies.

“However, we weathered the storm by our sheer spirit of resilience, zeal, steadfastness and determination to succeed. For this reason, we are most thankful to God for the strength, courage and divine guidance that saw us through.

“Through selfless sacrifice, boldness to confront injustice in any form and service to humanity, We are optimistic that we will overcome, for though, the night only tarries for while, morning must surely come. Once more, congratulations and a happy and very fulfilled new year to us all,” he said.
