NDLEA boss Marwa bereaved as mother-in-law passes on

Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa (Retd), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), is mourning the loss of his mother-in-law, Hajiya Zainab Hussain.

Hajiya Hussain, mother of Hajiya Munira Marwa, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Abuja. She was 76 years old.

A statement from the family announced that her funeral prayer (Janazah) will be held the same day—Saturday, June 21—at 2:00 p.m. at the National Mosque in Abuja, with interment to follow at the Gwarinpa Cemetery.

“We pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) pardons her sins, grants her eternal rest, and admits her into Aljannatul Firdaus,” the statement read, urging the public to keep the bereaved family in their prayers during this difficult time.
