NCDMB Trains 50 Kaduna Youths in DSTV, CCTV and Starlink Installation

Fifty youths have graduated from a 2-week technical training on DSTV Installation, CCTV Systems, and Starlink repairs in Kaduna State.

The event was organized by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) and delivered by Divine Communication Integrated Services Limited.

The two weeks programme was concluded yesterday with a focus on equipping participants with job ready skills to drive self-employment and strengthen local capacity in Nigeria’s communications and security technology space.

Over the course of the training, participants gained hands-on experience in satellite dish installation and alignment, DSTV decoder diagnostics, structured cabling, CCTV camera mounting, DVR/NVR configuration, and remote monitoring.

They were also trained on Starlink kit setup, internet optimization, fault tracing, and after-sales service, while additional sessions covered entrepreneurship, pricing, customer relations, and workplace safety.

A representative from Divine Communication Integrated Services Limited applauded the participants for their discipline and practical engagement.

He expressed optimism that with the tool kits and support provided, the graduates will become certified service providers and job creators in their communities.

The beneficiaries thanked NCDMB and Divine Communication for the opportunity, describing the training as practical, relevant and timely. Many indicated readiness to immediately launch repair and installation businesses.

The successful wrap-up of the Kaduna training reinforces the Board’s drive to position Nigerians to compete and deliver services in high-growth technology sectors.
