NCDMB, Kinetium Oil And Gas Ltd train 30 Lagos Youths in plumbing, pipefitting
The two weeks vocational training and empowerment program in plumbing and pipefitting for 30 youths in Lagos State has been successfully concluded.
The program, which took place from January 12 – 23, 2026 was organised by the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in collaboration with Kinetium Oil and Gas Ltd.
The training is aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the oil and gas industry, and it covered key areas such as plumbing system components, pipe installation and repair, pipefitting techniques, and plumbing code compliance.
Moreover, participants at the end were able to gain hands on experience in plumbing system installation and repair, preparing them for roles such as plumbers, pipefitters, or plumbing contractors.

This initiative aligns with NCDMB’s commitment to developing the skills and competencies of Nigerian youths in the oil and gas industry.
The board has been working tirelessly to bridge the skill gap in the sector and ensure that Nigerians are better positioned to take up emerging opportunities.
The successful completion of this training program demonstrates the commitment of NCDMB and Kinetium Oil and Gas Ltd to human capital development in the oil and gas sector.
