NCDMB, AFN Global Train 50 Participants On Quality Auditing, ISO Certification In Anambra

50 beneficiaries of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) training on Quality Auditing and ISO Certification held in Awka, Anambra State have completed the programme.

The five days programme held from August 3 to 7, 2026 was organised by the NCDMB in collaboration with AFN Global Services Limited at the state capital.

It was part of NCDMB’s drive to build local capacity and increase the competitiveness of Nigerian businesses in line with global standards.

AFN Global Services Limited, the technical partner facilitated practical sessions on quality management systems, internal auditing processes, documentation, compliance, and steps required to achieve ISO certification.

Participants were also trained on how to help organizations implement and maintain standards that improve efficiency, safety, and market access.

In his remarks, the NCDMB representative said the training aligns with the Board’s mandate to deepen Nigerian content by equipping Nigerians with skills that meet international requirements.

He later handed over certificates to participants and charged them on the need to apply the knowledge gained in their workplaces and businesses.

He noted that knowledge of quality auditing and ISO standards is critical for companies seeking to participate in the oil and gas sector and other regulated industries.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation to NCDMB and AFN Global for the opportunity, saying the training has positioned them to support organizations in achieving and sustaining ISO certification, and to pursue careers as quality auditors and consultants.

NCDMB reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with indigenous firms to deliver skills development programmes that create jobs, promote standards, and boost the capacity of Nigerians to compete locally and globally.
