NASFAT disburses N20million gifts to underprivileged

Nasrul-lahi-li-Fathi Society , NASFAT says it has disbursed cash and working tools estimated at N20m to 279 underprivileged persons, comprising petty traders and people suffering from various ailments.

The society in a statement on Saturday said the NASFAT Agency for Zakat and Sadaqat; NAZAS a non-governmental organisation established with the aim of giving succor to the needy in the society was responsible for the gesture.

It was stated that NAZAS also provided health insurance scheme for the society’s missioners and their immediate families.

The statement read in part, “On Sunday, September 1, 2019, NAZAS again reached out to over 279 underprivileged persons through its quarterly disbursement exercise. It was the sixth time in six years of its existence that NAZAS would be touching lives within the society”
