My priority is to do a duet (collabo) with Yemi Alade- Syemca, says she brought out the best in me

The second runners-up in the recently concluded season 2 of the Voice Nigeria, Chukwuemeka Chike Ezekpeazu a.k.a SYEMCA, has disclosed that his priority now is to do a collabo with one of the coaches, Yemi Alade.

SYEMCA who described all the coaches in the house as amazing, said it was a great opportunity to be in the house and to have worked with Yemi Alade.

The singer, who was full of praises to Yemi, said she bought the best in him.

“With the type of songs coming into my head right now, I want to do a collabo with Yemi Alade. Not because she is my coach, but she brought out so much in me while I was in the house which I did not know before.

“And doing a collabo with such person will definitely be a sellout”.

Chukwuemeka who was also full of praises for the organisers of the Voice Nigeria, said it was God’s doing that he came second runner’s-up, adding that so many artist fell by the way side during the audition through to the competition proper.

“The voice Nigeria for me was amazing, I am grateful to the organisers for given that platform. I was happy I got the final and came out 2nd runners up”.

Asked if there was any preferential treatment from the judges, Syemca quickly nodded No, “they were fear enough, and there was no partiality, though Yemi was my coach, but with other coaches they treated everyone equally”.

He, however, disclosed that doing a collabo with his younger brother who came second in the season one is certain.

He, urged his fans not to be angry that he did not win, promising to utilise the advantages he got from the Voice Nigeria.

According to him, he is working on his own sound, “create my own identity, and create my style of music, after that I will announce myself to the world”.
