More PDP Governors, Lawmakers to defect to APC – Ologbondiyan makes more revelations

Former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has raised concerns about a growing wave of defections from the party as the 2027 general elections approach.

Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, Ologbondiyan likened the current political atmosphere to a “football transfer window,” where politicians are constantly being courted or traded between parties.

He pointed to the recent defection of all PDP senators from Kebbi State to the All Progressives Congress (APC) as a sign of deeper troubles within the party, suggesting that more governors, senators, and lawmakers could follow suit.
