MILITARY TO LAUNCH’CROCODILE SMILE’ SECURITY STRATEGY IN OGUN

The Nigerian Army has disclosed plan to launch a new security strategy in Ogun State, with the code name,’crocodile smile’,aim to address security challenges in the state and environs.
The Brigade Commander of 35 Artillery Brigade,Alamala,Abeokuta,Basil Adoke made this known on Sunday at a reception organised by Ogun State Government as part of activities marking 57th anniversary independence.
Adoke added that, this action would be put in place in the next couple of days,across the state and environs,to step up tempo targeted at the miscreants.

The army boss,however, told residents not to entertained any fear when the operations commenced,stressing that some miscreants have been identified and need to flush them out.
He emphasiised ‘Though, the state is said to be peaceful,but we still have some miscreants to be dealt with,so when you see crocodile smile don’t be scared’.
The military chieftain further explained that,crocodile smile is a replica of python dance introduced in Abia state, to silence criminals in the state and environs
Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun in his remark at government house venue of the reception,appreciated the roles of security operatives in the state since he assumed office over six years ago.
He promised that,his administration would continue to support course that shall make crime free in the state,stressing that no criminals would be allow to have a field day.
Hear him ‘I want to appreciate our security agencies and we will continued to support security measure. It is a known fact that,investment cannot grow where there is no peace, and without enabling environment’.
Speaking on the nation 57th anniversary, he said he was optmistic that,the country would conquered all problems facing it,stressing that problem is a phase in life.
The governor posited that ,anybody or group that will divide the country should not be allowed,with a further call that,we should use our population to get united.
He also noted that,governance remained a serious business that should not be toyed with by anybody,stating that, those at helms of affairs should be seen serving.
On politics, the governor boasted that,his successor would follow his path of achievements,declaring that,he has already built a platform for that.
