Mark laments death of PDP members in Benue — Says it’s a painful loss
Former President of the Senate, Senator David Mark has sent a message of condolence to the Benue state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and families of the victims of Friday’s ghastly motor accident that claimed the lives of about 10 persons.
Some PDP supporters died in a fatal accident on their way to
Agatu for the flag off of the Benue South Senatorial zone campaign for the forthcoming elections.
The event was however put on hold on account of the incident.
Senator Mark who visited the survivors at Adoka General Hospital lamented the death of the party faithful at the critical moment when their supports were mostly needed.
He prayed for the quick recovery of the survivours just as he counseled party faithful to be steadfast in spite of the challenges.
He consoled members over the death of their compatriots promising that their deaths would not be in vain.
For him, everything humanly possible under the law must be done to ensure that the deceased members did not die in vain.
