Low turn out at Presidential Villa, Police polling units, others
There was low turnout of voters at the Presidential Villa, Abuja; and Police Polling Unit 022 in the Federal Capital Territory as the chairmanship and councillorship elections hold.
NAN observed that a handful of voters were seen at the polling unit.
Speaking to NAN, the Independent National Electoral Commission Presiding Officer, Mr. Balogun Seyi, said he arrived the unit at 7:40 a.m.
“We had a large number of voters during the presidential and the National Assembly elections. As for this election, there are just a few number of people,” he said.
