Let APC field ‘a dog’ Saraki will lose in Ilorin- Ilorin Emirate Elders
Barely twenty hours after defecting from All Progressive Congress APC, to People’s Democratic Party, have some elders of Ilorin Emirate decided to jettison Dr. Bukola Saraki.
Many of those who spoke with our correspondent in Ilorin lamented that enough is enough, stressing that they are tired of his deceit. The group claimed that the state executive committee members of the PDP in Kwara State may dump the party for APC any moment between today and tomorrow.
Most of the elders who pleaded anonymity said they served Saraki’s father, late Dr Olusola Saraki, for many years “we cannot continue to serve his son in like manner, enough is enough”.
The group reiterated that the level of poverty in Kwara State is too enormous and they pointed out that the citizenry of the state and the state in general have not benefitted from the senate president.
The group maintained that even the Governor of the state Abdulfatai Ahmed is the worse governor of the state, since creation. They corroborated this by saying that for the past 7 years he has been the governor of the state, he has not been able to account for any infrastructural development across the state.
We are ready to take our destiny in our own hands, we are tired of their collaboration and deceit, we cannot withstand their antics again. Let us meet on the field on Election Day, we are willing to replace them with our men, the group concluded.
