Gwarimpa area of the Federal capital territory has a large turnout of voters of over 2,000 persons who came out at the federal staff clinic polling unit to vote.
The ad-hoc staff came about 8:00am but due to little misunderstandings whereby some voters came in earlier than others took time to resolve such issues.
The presiding officer John said polling units are 10 in number and urge electorate to exercise patience to avoid any more confusion. “ We will start soon everyone should hold on and ensure their names are on the placement list so that we will start right away”.
A nursing mother Amina who cast her vote said “ I was not delayed immediately I came because of my baby I was attended to and it took me 7minutea all together to cast my vote”
Another voter a handicap Abubakar said “though there was little delay but so far the process went smoothly, I am glad INEC considered we the handicap so we don’t wait for too long”.
Alhaji sidi Abubakar a voter said he came out as early as 5am to cast his vote and so far the exercise is devoid of any rancour. “ I came here as early as 5am and some people volunteer to put down names and gave numbers which really helped the process”.
So far the process in Gwarimpa has little or no hitches as it shows that Nigerians are anxious and willing to vote for their next leader.
